After waiting several years, finally got a seamaster. It's in great shape and only losing about a second a day.

Good looking watch. I have recently started thinking about a nice seamaster. Congrats!

Nice one! Hard to tell on your picture, but that dial is the wave "electric blue" version (model 2255.8).

That dial and bezel combo looks quite nice, not your usual sm300

What size case is that? With 6.5" wrists I believe 36 or 38mm is the limit for me

Just for the record there are a few people (ahem) who like the SM 300

    :)

I like the original submitters seamaster too, of course.

I wasnt trying to offend but every sm300 i see is blue with a blue dial, its like cars in a really nice colour. At first they are really popular untill theres too many and then its not everyones favourite colour. Take the mk1 mazda mx5 for example. The colour to have when it first came out was red in england, now its not the colour to have. Tastes and fashion change and i would take this over the blue on blue, i like it.

jm251, it has a 44mm case. I love the blue bezel and actually planned on getting an sm300 but stumbled onto this one. I think the silver bezel will be more scratch resistant than the blue.

Yes and know. I've had mine for 12 years and have gotten some character marks on the bezel... However they are far less noticeable than the Bond blue or black bezels. It can also be lightly buffed. Gorgeous piece!

This SMP is known as the Electric blue and has a unique blue dial, in my opinion one of the best blue dials out there (these have a 41mm case).
Have one too and love it...

I know. I'm lookin' at it.

The one I had was the titanium version.

I'm gonna spend some time lookin' for a Non America's Cup.
