The new Seamaster has a 41 mm case made from 18K yellow gold and features a green ceramic bezel with an OMEGA Ceragold™ diving scale. Most captivating of all is the watch’s deep green dial, which is made from the precious stone malachite. It includes 18K yellow gold hands that are filled with “vintage” Super-LumiNova. Kinda cool, but in some ways seems to be following Rolex as they are often associated with this color green.

The malachite dial is really lovely, I suppose a different take on the wave dial but with natural inclusions. I find it a lot more striking than the Hulk but I think the thrill would wear off a lot quicker.

I was never fond of this case style or gold watches in general. However, on this occasion two wrongs make a right. It looks stunning.

It is a stunning watch and the malachite dial really is a perfect match with the 18ct YG of the case!! Just love it!!

If I was desperate for a flex, but still wanted to keep it in the fam, this is exactly how I'd do it.

Lots of green going on... too much for my taste.

I'd need a whole new wardrobe to wear green so I'll pass but I like that watch designers are widening their range of dial materials. There is a virtually limitless range of minerals and crystals and metal alloys that could be made into interesting dials so moving in that direction makes sense when it supports their quest to offer customers "uniqueness", exclusivity, limited editions, etc.

Not a fan of that model personally, but I have to admit it looks lovely in that iteration. ::love::

Not that keen on green, or gold, or 'novelty' dials but for some strange reason I like it!
