Hello everyone, I am excited to see the new Seamaster 300 2021 in black and blue before taking one home. I am more leaning towards the black one but I want to give the blue a fair chance as well, do you have any real work pictures please? Anything shall go, indoors or outdoors, thank you so much

And a couple pics for attention

I'd always go Black over Blue especially with the last model but with the bond smc 300 I went blue and was really happy with my choice.
With this watch you could go either way but I do have to say the blue is very nice, Omega does a great job when it comes to blue divers.

I prefer the black over blue in the SMP Diver, but Omega really nailed the blue with this one, and I prefer the contrast between this blue and the aged lume over the black version. But I haven't spent much time with either in person -- can't really go wrong with this choice.

Also, you could go the hardcore OF route, and buy both...

I tired both. For me it's the blue one
It's a very nice blue and depending on the lighting sometimes it looks black

Blue looks very special and from the videos I have watched indeed can look dark enough close to black in dark environment and then pop out in the light which is a nice for me. Please let me see any pics you might have with the blue, thank you and congratulations!

I have managed to see this watch twice first time I was very underwhelmed the second time I was a lot more impressed. I haven't seen the blue yet but I wouldn't mind seeing more pictures of it. There is still very few reviews online and even in the metal pictures.

You are right, especially for black with bracelet there is no review yet. This one though got me sold for blue, I wasn’t leaning towards the blue but the more I look at it the more I feel it’s more special and I have black dial black bezel watches already..

I ordered blue. I already own several black face/black bezel omegas. Needed something blue.

Update (I ordered the blue version in April) and oddly enough my AD just literally called and said it has arrived! So I'm off to pick it up, photos coming soon! 😁

I tried both on at the Omega boutique in London (Oxford St) and it may have been the lighting but I found the blue washed out, in particular when it came to the bezel. I thought the contrast between the black and the faux patina worked better and that the black would be a more timeless design. I’ve ordered the black (from somewhere else for a fair bit less) and am waiting for it to be delivered. I’ll post some detailed pics when it arrives.....

I think it depends on your current collection. If you have all black dials a blue would be a great addition.

The blue on this piece is special..

Kind of an anthracite like look, I think you made a solid choice.

I assume you paid retail? I may be jumping on board this piece as well.

As I mentioned my AD called just as I was commenting in this thread to let me know my blue 300 had arrived. So I went down immediately to collect it. I had never seen it in person when I ordered and it was nothing short of spectacular in the flesh!

The blue bezel is very navy but the dial has a texture to it that really changes the hue of blue from almost purple in some light to a rich blue in shade. It’s a definite beauty.
