It’s reasonably priced (but not a bargain) and is in a very attractive condition; the dial, case and movement all looking good.

The real comparative test, for me, is that it has a 552 movement. You could buy a cheaper model with a handwind movement or an automatic with a 1*** series movement but I think you’ve got a nice watch for a worthwhile deal.

FactorIng in the fact that it has been serviced is a plus but I’d ask the seller for the service receipt (or a copy). Also, he asserts that the mainspring has been replaced which suggests that it was serviced by a proper watchmaker.

Good luck if you get it. You’ll enjoy wearing it.
