    Hi everybody,

I wanted to share with you my new project. This is a special project as it is for my wife.

She has become quite enthousiast about vintage watches and especially Omega as she always see me spending so much time with mines.

I defined the project as follows:
    - 33 to 34mm gold case
    - gold dial
    - dark brown band

I have been monitoring some auctions websites for a few months now trying to find interesting pieces.
Here is what I have found so far:

    The case.

    The band

    The buckle

Could you please help me identify what movement would fit into the case?
Apparently, it works with the series 56X calibers.
Does it also work with 60x / 61x calibers?
I think both calibers works into a case like 162.041

    Any recommendations for the movement?

    Magic Tom.

Hi Al, thanks for the answer!

Do you know if it also work with calibers 60x / 61x or only 56x?

When I see this listing (http://www.befr.ebay.be/itm/182005490181?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:ITPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network), it says that the watch has a 565 caliber but I know that this case also work with 601 caliber as I own one...
So do 56x and 60x calibers fit into different cases or is there something wrong with the listing above?

    Again, thanks for your help.

I can't tell you for certain that it works with anything other than the movement Omega designed to go in it. I generally don't try to fit movements in cases that they don't belong in.
