Here is what I managed to put up. This took the acquiring of a poor condition Omega display and a hard to find initial model. This is the result once the pieces are put together. Next step is to find a good camera, light and settings for better pictures than the one presented taken with an iPhone.
Reminds me of Alan Bean's scale replica lunar lander sitting in his living room. He used it for accurate recreation of shadows in his paintings... Now that would be a display.
I like the Omega plate on Your display ... " The first one and only watch ... " And yet another Apollo 11 idea... Splashdown & capsule recovery set (given to some Navy pilots at retirement) great to display 3 watches .
Or simply stick to those amazing goodies Omega SA brought out in the late 1960s when they started to be serious about advertising the historic spaceflight related use of the chronograph ( Gemini IV spacewalk, Apollo 8, Apollo 11, ... ) .
Adding to the photo setting ideas/options with the ultimate Edward White scale figurine with gold visor at 1/6th scale... of course wearing two Omega Speedmasters as Ed White did in June 1965 .
There's always another Apollo mission... vintage Apollo 12 crew patch as worn during post-recovery... famous SeaKing Helo 66 scale model .
