For sale is a Tudor Oyster ref 7804. My best guess is that it's from the 1950s. My Rolex-certified watchmaker has been going through some old boxes and finding watches and parts that he had forgotten about for many years. He did a complete service on it and offered it to me. After due consideration, given my new years resolution to be less impulsive, I've decided to pass it on. It's an honest and appealing vintage piece with obvious signs of age as shown in the photos. The 34.5mm stainless case is very strong, with thick lugs and sharp edges between the polished and brushed surfaces of the case. It is all correct to the best of my knowledge, including the gold bezel, correct hands, correct original screw-down crown and even the original domed crystal. There is a small ding on the bezel, various signs of aging on the original dial (fading, minor discoloration, some lume loss) and a couple of chips on the edge of the case-back that do not affect its function or integrity. I've provided plenty of photos that show every flaw under various lighting conditions. It is freshly serviced and comes with a warranty from my watchmaker. I'm happy to provide a scan of the warranty document by DM.
