Just acquired a new PO with steel bracelet. What's your opinion on getting it sized? Would you only let an AD or Boutique do it or is a reputable Jeweler ok?

 

A boutique will do it for free if there is a local one. Any good jeweler or ad will do it for a small fee.

 

If a local watchmakers adjusts the band, Would this in any way shape or form affect the warranty? Probably not right?
Im only asking because I thought I read that warranties are voided if the Caseback is taken off. I am just curious.

Having your watch band sized by a local watchmaker will definitely not void your warranty.

 

Nope, I was just mentioning one thing I heard would disqualify your warranty.

I was asking if adjusting the bracelet at unauthorized places would be a similar disqualification. But that's been answered now.


Rather be safe than sorry. Now I know.
