I had a crush on this pretty Omega Seamaster Chronostop 145.008 gmt roulette bezel 🥰

bought in 1969 in Portugal by a lady, english teacher before leaving for the Mozambique bush for a teaching mission. It went somewhere i'll probably never go !

I hesitated for a long time between a 176.007 with silver dial and blue bezel, a Chronostop Genève and a Chronostop Pulsometer.

The Chronostop Genève was too small for my taste (I had a Seamaster Cosmic of the same size which did not suit me).
The 176.007 was more expensive and I wouldn't be able to realize if its 15.5mm thickness would satisfy me. It has a terrible look with its arrow hand ! its readability can be improved in my opinion, especially the 24 hours day/night counter of which I see absolutely no interest unless you are a speleologist. it would have more useful in gmt function.
There remained the Chronostop Pulsometer which could have suited me. I did not like the state of the one I met.

This Chronostop is amazing because it has a diameter close to the Speedmaster but seems smaller when worn. I will see if this impression persists as it is used.
The gmt bezel is ideal for keeping the price contained while avoiding complicating the mechanism. I find it very easy to use.

The only fault that I would find would be its 22mm between lugs which obliges to wear a bracelet that I would have preferred less wide.

I think the Chronostop collection would be worth considering, it's really nice to wear and look at.

ps: it is on French time and the bezel indicates Tokyo time

Count me a fan. Agree with all you comments, particularly how comfortably it wears for a larger watch.
And you could order a bespoke strap (I use Delugs.com) with a sharp taper, say 22mm to 18mm, which might reduce the width impact...

I like your models. I wish I could not choose and own both. Always the painful problem of choice and my wife's reactions...🙄
