Hi All, I've recently finished building and testing this Seamaster 200m aka the SHOM. If you've been looking for one of these this is the one to get. I was halfheartedly hoping to keep it for a while as this thing is super cool but that 2998-5 has shot holes in the budget. The dials for these are not available from the usual places anymore and marked as obsolete, the cases are out of stock everywhere at this time too. This was built on the 4th of July this year Case; NEW factory fresh ( not NOS ) full case - 166.0177 Case back; NEW Crystal; NEW Dial; NEW Hands; NEW - I went with the PLOPROF hand set. Many have been built this way and I like the splash of colour. If you prefer the black sword hands, I have a set of those on their way and they can be fitted at no charge. Movement; Serviced (by me) super clean 1012, serial number 38197797. Mainspring and various other parts replaced. Running well, winding smoothly with good timekeeping and amplitude. Your results may vary due to frequency of use, temperature etc. You may not be able to tell but I have used a silver date wheel, this subtle mod looks great with the brushed stainless steel case. Strap; Brand new black leather ZRC strap and buckle. A used and original 1162 bracelet is available at a price to be negotiated should the buyer prefer. This looks awesome on a simple black nato too! Lug size is 22mm Full disclosure; This watch was put together from parts. All parts are 100% Omega (except the leather strap + buckle). I have tested it for approximately three weeks, which included timegrapher and wrist time, all functions are working correctly.
