Any other reports of these small dial flaws on the newly released Seamster Diver 300?

Under extreme macro there is some kind of inclusion under the A and several visual defects on the 12 o'clock markers.

(This is not my watch. Mine arrives in a week or so and boy am I looking forward to it inclusion or not!.)

I think I've read somewhere on previous threads, that imperfections not visible to the naked eye from certain distance are actually acceptable by standard.

What is visible to the naked eye is those horrible skeleton hands, they put me right off what is otherwise a nice watch.

The intent is to pull your focus away from the dial issues :D

Wish I could make such detailed macro shots... I don't see this on my new SMP with the macro I can take

No one is forcing you to buy the watch.

That being said, threads are better with pictures and I'm in love with my allegedly imperfect 300m. With horrible skeleton hands. Flaws and all!

All that matters is you feel happy with your purchase, as for me I won't be buying one as I don't like it enough.

That mark in the 'A' (image on right above) seems more unacceptable than the other flaw on the left.

This is from Chris aka HorologyHouse. I saw his post on Reddit and also on his Youtube channel and I like it.

The hole on the dial is unacceptable but from what I read, he is working on it together with his AD to solve this issue. Still, this is on top of my list and I hope I can get it next year

The hole makes it unique and therefore worth more.

It’s a bit like a Dot Over Ninety bezel, except this is a Hole Under A dial

Quality issues are not a unique character to any watch; it needs to be addressed and resolved by the brand ASAP.

That being said no brand, at present, is immune to such issues nowadays. We expect them to be more meticulous as they take a lot of money in lieu of their product, that is sold so only due to its quality and craftsmanship.

I bought the blue on blue rubber a month ago. Much squinting (I don’t have a loup) reveals no issues with the dial or indices. So if there are any defects, I won’t be noticing them.

Welcome to the Omegaforums. Soon you’ll buy a loup and also start noticing many other nuisances with the naked eyes.

I just wondering how this can happen... How many people have worked on that watch and none of them noticed it..::facepalm2::

While I agree with you, I also feel I heard less QC issues with Japanese watches. Omega on the other hand, I heard quite often..

Correct. And Chris (who I do know) spotted this under macro and has just included it in his video review to be informative. And to be fair to Omega don't forget that is under extreme magnification. To be honest, a man (usually myself) with a little knowledge and a loupe is a dangerous pedant to behold. :D Great review btw and I should have added the link. Here it is:

name it a "Rolex" and Immediately it will double its value as an "exotic" dial...

That’s spot on. My previous comment was very much tongue in cheek. I watched the video and, as he explains, Omega are working on fixing the dial issues, which you would expect from the brand. However, you would expect a higher level of quality control, but as has been pointed out previously Omega state that if it can’t be seen with the naked eye then it’s not a problem. But once you know it’s there...
