Since I am a surfer and a diver, I like dive watches. So, I naturally had to try a Proplof. Love it! After seeing a titanium and stainless steel, went with stainless. Was able to land new-old stock on black strap.

I love my DSSD, but never cared for lack of Rolex straps. Lots of aftermarket and nato, but looked for something more versatile. I am a big fan of rubber straps. The Omega with the infinitely adjustable expansion clasp.

The head is as heavy as the DSSD, but wears more balanced, thanks to the 24mm width and clasp. I was drawn to the watch primarily engineered as a tool. All aspects are oriented to water use - distinct hour hand, lumed bezel, locking bezel, uncluttered dial with distinct markers and the crown! Always know it’s closed.

Here are some picks on the wrist.

I did the same thing. Vintage Rolex fan but went for the ploprof over the Rolex dive monstrosities for a modern beater.

With you being a diver/surfer, I cannot think of a better fit watch. Congratulations and welcome to OF!

Go big or go home. For very similar reasons I have a 3313 Planet Ocean Chrono. Welcome to Omega!

So now I am switching between left and right wrist. I am a lefty so right wrist generally works better. I can unlock and move the bezel just fine on the right wrist. The main issue is the crown. I’ll figure it out eventually!!
