After initially wanting a TAG Heuer and becoming a member on Calibre11, then flirting with a Breitling, I finally decided to go for the Seamaster Diver 300 in Black.

I toyed with the Gunmetal and Blue, and then very nearly got the Ceramic case with Titanium, but reigned myself in and went for the Black and Steel yesterday.

That Ceramic and Ti looks epic with the Grey face, but ultimately decided to use the cash difference for other things.

The rubber strap was cool, but I was midway between tightest strap position and the next one and neither gave me a nice fit, as don’t like it hanging loose, so to speak.

Absolutely chuffed with my decision, especially considering I have already micro adjusted the bracelet once this morning.

You chose wisely.👍

Damnit. I thought I’d get the chance to quote an Indiana Jones movie the 2nd time in 2 days. You beat me to it. 😁

Congrats on the watch @bpsmith !

Excellent choice! Classic dial on a classic watch. Wear it in excellent health. Mine has been a mainstay since I acquired it in 2019.

Looks like you have the rubber strap?

How has it lasted and how often are you wearing it?

Still toying with getting on at some point, to chop and change. That’s assuming it’s straightforward enough to swap at home without damage?

I bought in on the steel and then added the rubber -- I dive with mine, and almost always dive with a strap. The OEM has been excellent, durable;e and extremely comfortable over the 2 years I've had it. One of the few OEM rubber straps I'd actually say was a decent VFM.

Very nice - congrats. For me that’s the one I’d go for too. Goes with anything. Enjoy

Do you happen to know the part number please? Can’t find any rubber ones on omega site. Just leather or nato.

@bpsmith My rubber strap has CVZ010126. The stainless steel buckle is STZ010129 11 on it, not sure if you need that 11 on the end.

Thanks everyone.

I think I might not go for the rubber strap after all.

Really like the black Alligator strap with foldover clasp, but a touch salty at £520.

Then spotted the NATO straps and like the black and grey, at a far more palatable £140.

What are your experiences of the NATO straps compared to the bracelet? Nice and comfy?

How easy is it to swap the straps over myself at home regularly? I understand how it’s done, but interested in how tight the spring bars are and whether it can scratch if swapping often?

I love the bracelet, with no complaints. Only reason for having an optional replacement is to switch things up now and again, and also to save scratching the bracelet and/or computer desk when in short sleeves.

Thoughts on the look?

Great choice! It looks like we chose the same watch on the same day, although my “official” purchase date will be logged as 12-11-21, just a little wait until it is finally mine.

Very nice @Longbow.

Randomly, I was wearing a very similar charcoal grey/black jumper when purchasing too.
