Just inherited the watch seen in pictures from my late father , since then I have purchased to other Omega watches and now am very interested in the Omega brand . Wanted to ask for help with my fathers watch from this very informed group of Omega forum , Is this a authentic Omega ? the watch buckle makes gives me doubts as Omega symbol is not level ???

Thanks so much !

Your photos are not very clear but, at first glance, both the watch and the buckle look genuine.

Homage buckles rarely have the amount of detail that I can see but not discern.

The watch looks to be in very nice condition.

Welcome and congrats on your new pieces.

Apologies, but I'm a relative newbie myself. I'll refrain from commenting as to the authenticity of the piece in the pictures.

An adult will be along in a minute, who should be able to advise.

Looks good, though.

That is a solid gold hallmark as well no? 👍

The marking inside your case back looks like it might be the symbol for solid gold. Hard to see clearly in the picture.

Nice watch! It has a gold 18k locally produced case (probably in Spain as it was bought there). This was made to avoid taxes when importing a gold watch.
