Hi Everyone Just got this last night , USPS surprised me did not think I was getting this before xmass ..... Well we are getting close to end of the year with less then a week .... At this point this is my last watch purchase for 2018 ... but you never know till the ball drops ! The Omega on the left was a spur of the moment chance , was having mini moderator dinner with @kyle L and @gatorcpa ..... Kyle offered the watch to Gator , he hesitated ..... I then asked him no less then three times ... are you sure ? End of story it’s mine now ... What I like about both watches , steel with either Gold / steel hands and dial markers ! Good Hunting Bill
Congratulations, the Eagle has landed! https://vintagewatchresources.com/watches/eagle-automatic/ gatorcpa
I see people using this term more and more - what is the origin? To me, the bezel surface and sides would have to be flat/straight and not angled like on this one to be a step case design.
Hi @ConElPueblo Then it is a stepped case , there is an angle on the top side of lugs but case side is straight the. Steps in the. Up on the bezel . So much I thought the case was missing it’s bezel , here are pic from the car at night ... View attachment 679366 And sellers pics Of course they are much better ! Good Hunting Bill
Hi Not a bumper first gen sub sec full rotor... like 491? cant remember off top of my head... best bill
Bill, the Longines is lovely but ooh that Omega. If you would ever like to send that Omega to the sunshine Down Under to improve its patina, be sure to let me know
Wow - love that case design - is there a ref number? Must track a similar one - will make it a 2019 mission
Bill, that's an insane price for that stepped case, whether or not the box and papers are original. I paid way more for my sub seconds version, haha. I put in my low bid at the last second thought I'd get a steal but, obviously you beat me to it. Congrats!!
