Wondering what folks think about these. I suspect they’ll be polarizing. It’s a legit 1977 Genta design—not just a ripoff of the RO/Nautilus/Ingenieur, but it’s hard not to see it as so on/behind the trend as to be a little comical.

At the same time, 1700 USD for a Titanium/meteorite watch in what I consider the ideal size of 37mm… it’s not an unappealing prospect.

I’m definitely not a pre-order guy when it comes to a design I’ve never seen in the metal. But might see if I can check one of these out when they start hitting stores.

It does seem like an amalgam of everything that was super hot 14 months ago. If it had a diver’s bezel it’d be perfect.

Friend of mine just bought the 37mm version with the aventurine dial. It wears very well actually on my skinny wrist, and wears thinner than the 12mm declared thickness. The lapis lazuli dial looks pretty good actually.

The new Nivada lines have certainly caught my attention. They are building attractive watches that draw on their history, and they are not humongous.

I like them and if I needed another watch, I’d get the aventurine one.

I like it a lot. But then again, I like just about anything that resembles a Royal Oak.

Been on my radar as well. I had a depthmaster reissue and it wasn't bad... didn't knock my socks off though so I've been hesitant.

My man Genta is a genius. He kept selling the same design to every brand hires him.

It really does scream Genta but I never associated Nivada with him... Sounds like an excuse to pick up a reasonably priced "genta" 😀

Kinda what I’m thinking. I might like it more than any of his other, more famous, designs excepting the Ingenieur. And with titanium and meteorite in the mix… it’s calling to me. I should get the chance to try one on soon. Will be curious to see how it works with its small proportions (by 21st century standards).
