I have read posts on here for a while and figured it was time to stop being a lurker. I have three Omegas a 1959 Seamaster, Cal. 562 (regrets for the wool fuzz on the crystal from the scarf in the photo), a early 1970s Dynamic Deville, Cal. 563, and I just purchased a 1968 Constellation, Cal 751. Thanks for all the great information on this site.
Nice case, strap and dial colour combination on the dynamic. Do you rotate wearing your watches or do you have a favourite. Enjoy.
I rotate. I have a few other watches in the rotation. I graduated to Omega after a few solid gold vintage watches. I have three nice Bulovas, one with gold nuggets, a Gruen, and a few other nice pieces.
Thank you, here is photo of the dial without the fuzz. There are a few small scratches on the dial, but it is in really nice shape for being 70 years old.
Very nice- love the Seamaster. I got into vintage via Bulova’s too. I own too many (they are so cheap!!) They are fabulous watches and horribly under appreciated. They rival anything of their times for build quality and fit and finish was top notch (even their finishing on the movements was beautiful).
Here is a nice 14K 10BT, 1954 Bulova. It is amazing how cheaply you can get into solid gold with Bulovas. Paid $500 got a old gold filled backup watch running for the movement for $30. Right now I am hooked on Omegas though.
