Hi my name is Paul. I got this watch yesterday from an AD in London. I was looking at a smooth bezel Date Just and an Aqua T also. I went with this one as i like the size, smooth bezel, contrast between blue and rhodium in the dial under different light. I joined Omega Forum instead of the Rolex forum as you guys are a bit more technical in conversations.

Thanks. The Aqua Terra is a killer watch also but a bit too thick and high on my wrist. The basic 2500 DeVile is very nice and thin. Maybe in the future get at a discount from an AD.

The Omega forum seems to have more content. Also you have watchmakers on this forum.

    Hello and welcome,

Did you happen to see the grape dial version, I think it is a great looking watch in pictures but wonder how it looks in real life?

Yes, I would clarify that the benefit of content here is that it is better and more valuable content. There are many knowledgeable members (including several great watchmakers) who are willing to share their knowledge in helping others learn and understand.

It's a great forum in the great diversity and acceptance of:
    - both new and vintage
    - low cost entry-level (Seiko, Tissot, Hamilton, etc) all the way up to high end (PP, ALS, etc)
    - new naive members (like me) and highly respected and well known (like @Archer, @Spacefruit and so many others)
    - silly comical posts/threads as well as serious research and knowledge based posts/threads
    - non-watch topics (like biking, WRUD, etc) and of course full plethora of watch related topics
