Hi everyone I have only just found this forum and thought I would stop by and say hello! The forum looks great! A little bit about me: I have been collecting Omegas for about five years, owned well over a hundred and currently own about 15. My passion is Omegas of the 1970's, I feel it was a superb time for Omega and really was their hay day, pushing the boundaries of technology and creativity whic produced (IMHO) some of the most iconic Omegas every. There aren't many Omegas I haven't owned but my hardcore collection consists of a few manuals and automatics (Bullhead, Ploprof) but for the most part vintage Megaquartz's. I have a good collection of Megaquartz F2.4's including a couple of Marine Chronometers, a few Stardusts and most of the other F2.4Mhz varations. Anyway, enough blabbing on, will post a few pics of a few of my watches shortly Cheers Tom
VERY cool, love the box sets, my favorite is actually that 32KHz Day-Date on what looks like sharkskin strap?
Welcome Tom, Very nice little team you have there! You obviously have a passion for 70s quartz, which is uncommon in itself. What is it about the early quartz models that you find interesting and alluring? Cheers Desmond
