Hello all hope you are well.

I have been lurking for a while looking at at all your amazing time pieces.

I have finally chosen my first... The 2020 Seamaster 300m Tokyo, in love with the blue and white what a combination! I'm sure this will not be the last omega either.

Here is a couple of snaps of the 300;

It's a beauty! I wish it didn't have the olympics logo on the caseback but oh well, at least it's not on the dial. Great piece!

Thankyou, the rear logo doesn't block the view inside too much.

I looked at the Beijing 300m and that really did have too much olympic going on.

In the end it was between the Tokyo and a standard blue on blue 300m for me this time. Love them all.

The Olympic rings look great on the back I just don't think the logo for the Tokyo games is all that appealing in general (let alone the size on the case back window) but hey, my wrist doesn't particularly care what a caseback looks like! The dial and bezel combo are fantastic though, I absolutely love it, great looking watch.

Congratulations! When I bought my Seamaster a month or so back, I had a pretty difficult time choosing between the standard white dial and the Tokyo. Beautiful watch!

In the end I went with the standard white dial because my OB was able to cut me a better deal… I might end up getting rid of it for the Tokyo if the prices ever come back down again.

Yes exactly. And at least the watch has an extra talking point for years to come of the crazy 2020 we all had.

Yes I nearly went blue on blue because of the better deal also, they are all still beautiful watches.

I would like a rubber strap eventually too, how you finding that? Do you have a bracelet also?

I guess it should be possible to order a caseback from the regular model and replace it.

Currently tokyo is the daily but mainly due to me being fatter and I can adjust clasp on it but older one us a bit tight. This is great excuse to buy new by the way....

Both will be getting equal attention soon

When I bought the watch on the bracelet I also ordered the strap. It’s was around $280 US. You can order it directly from Omega.

Cheers! Looks like you can't order a Tokyo off the omega website but some AD's have them at the moment, I think mine had one left.

Yeah I was wondering how you are liking the rubber over the bracelet? Does look good. 😀

I don’t really have a preference, I just wear it on the strap more in a bid to keep the bracelet form getting too beaten up. It’s really a matter of opinion. I would try and get the strap on wrist before buying it so that you know weather or not you find it comfortable. Best of luck to you!
