Hello all, I just joined the forum and wanted to say hi. I own two Omegas. a 1970's Geneva Stingray 166.122 and a 1990's Seamaster 300M 2532.80. Always been a fan of Omega's and glad I found this forum. Thank you, Sam
Thanks, that's top photo is very interesting! I´m no Omega expert (I just like most of them) and to be quite honest I´d never heard of the Geneva Stingray...but I like it! A rather unusual watch! Cheers and welcome!
Thanks, yes it's an odd duck but interesting. I don't have the original bracelet or strap so that's an aftermarket. I just had a full service done to it and it works perfectly, just shows it's age.
Thanks and good question, but tough one to answer For Omega a 1950's speedmaster would be perfect For Rolex a Milgauss And in general, I'm an engineer and fascinated by mechanical devices so a vintage tourbillon, any make is fine
Nice choices of timepieces!! I can well imagine, in this forum (OF), you will find A LOT of interesting stuff to read and share.
Welcome to OF, Sam. If you’ve never experienced an addiction and/or obsessive-compulsive personality disorder, you will now.
Great start - you will find a wealth of information and knowledge here - getting at it isn't always easy though
