Hi OF,

I’m a lurker through a couple of months but wanted to properly introduce myself:
Born and raised in Denmark, later transplanted to Philadelphia, and most recently moved to the burbs of Indianapolis.
Watch-interested since I can remember and the purchase of a pre-wave ceramic Seamaster Pro 300M a handful of years ago catalyzed my graduation to a WIS. Since then have I bought (and subsequently sold) watches from most major watch brands. I became a bit disenfranchised with watches but have re-found the passion with vintage.

Enough babbling, here’s my “grand” two-watch collection as it stands:

One near-mint manual Omega dress watch in 18k from 1962.
The other is my more recent purchase, a 1961 Seamaster in pretty great condition (I think), as well.

Thanks for having me on the Forum and I look forward to discussing and learning from y’all.

I am enjoying that BOR!

Famous last words but I am actually contemplating stopping here for quite a while and rather lean into learning rather than acquiring vintage Omegas (who am I even trying to fool, we all know where that leads to...)

This is really the perfect greeting

Perhaps it should be the standard OF welcome going forward?

WTTM. It makes sense to me.

Some newer members may not realize what they're getting into. I certainly didn't. I thought I would buy one nice vintage dress watch and be done. It can be interesting to revisit your introductory post after hanging around for a while. Oh yeah, they warned me about this.
