Shut the computer down now and walk away.

This is a sight for Omega watch addicts, you can not have just one. ::psy::

(keep away from the WRUW for a few weeks)

Hi, it is blue version. My non-existent photography skills at work.
This is just the beginning. And what is WRUW? :)

Run out now and start having affairs with numerous gold digging women, it's your only hope.

Congrats and welcome mate, now you can start figuring out what model of Speedmaster you want to add to it, need a chronograph and a diver to start with, then a dress watch.

It was about three years ago, I wanted to buy a nice watch.....I bought a very cool Invicta.

Then I found this site. I don't even recall how I stumbled across it. But I did. Read the above post from dsio. That is my story, and the story of the 99% others on this board.

I can append to his statement... then a vintage seamaster diver, then a PO, then a speedmaster LE, it goes on.

My advice, remove your account from this site, delete it from your bookmarks and forget you ever saw this place, otherwise, you will spend countless hours here and you will find that talking about watches, looking at watches and most importantly buying watches becomes a really obsessive activity in your life. you have been warned.

Oh dear. My advice is to sit down, clasp your hands behind your knees and admire the watch while you kiss your a** goodbye. You're on the edge of a vortex: pretty soon you'll come to the conclusion that your modern Seamaster is feeling lonely without a family and find yourself looking longingly at a CK14.755, and how could you like Omega's without a Speedy for the days when only a Speedy will do. Then you'll start wandering across the forum, and the problem will become how to explain the new Tri-Compax to the wife, and of course vintage Zenith's are a bargain....

Not that I'm describing anything like what happened to me...

Welcome Tuchka. Great first Omega. Much like potatoe chips, you can't have just one. This is a great forum to hang around. The fine members here will help you spend your hard earned money. Enyoy. Wish we still had the "throwing money around" icon.

Not so sure gold digging women would help the cause here. He's going to need MORE money, not less :D.

Did`t know that collecting Omega would be so dangerous. Wow. Should I tell my wife about my new disease?
I know it already started; feeling some need to a Speedmaster.

Get straps, looks great on leather, and rubber is useful for beach time and boating. You don't need to get them genuine Omega, there are some great imitate and alternatives, even deployment buckles. I love to change the strap on my smp. Current I wear it on leather, very comfy at the Gym. Looks great on NATO too. this is mine, old pic, right watch. I chose the black dial.
