Hi all . After lurking for approximately 5 years I recently signed up. I've learned so much from this forum in that time. One watchmaker that I think most here would hold in high regard is Audemars Piguet. Although they are rarely discussed. Today I came across this short film promoting their latest release, the eight-sided Royal Oak Concept Supersonnerie, and their collaboration with GENER8ION, the brainchild of French DJ Surkin. https://www.nowness.com/picks/audem...source=tw&utm_medium=SM&utm_campaign=tw250716 More on the watch here https://www.audemarspiguet.com/en/watch-collection/royal-oak-concept/26577TI.OO.D002CA.01 This is an amazing watch in my opinion, but that dial is a deal breaker. See you around the forum!
Oh, I think there are a few of us who are into AP, particularly their vintage pieces. Ain't that right @Tony C. ? Some members even have heirloom ROs. (calling @adam78)
Yes indeed, Dennis. Welcome to the forum, @Scenecreamer ! For collectors, AP can be split into two distinct categories: pre and post-Royal Oak. My interest is in the earlier designs and calibers, and they remain largely under the radar, as the production numbers were very low. Regards, Tony C.
