I just joined the forum to kick off a search for a birth year watch. At first I thought it would be easy to find a nice example, but since I'm on the north side of 50, it's been hard to find. I started looking at watches and reading the advice here on the forum. Not surprisingly, the watches I thought were good examples turned out to be anything but.

One piece of advice I read and took to heart was to focus on the seller and not the watch. As such, I've reached out to another member on the forum that sell vintage watches to help with the search.

So far I only have one Omega watch; a 90's era Constellation .

Welcome aboard! Keep an eye out for examples of birth year watches here: https://omegaforums.net/forums/private-watch-sales/
Plenty of nice ones pop up on a regular basis.

Or, if you desire to hunt for your own, take the time to read the stickies such as these:

Thx, I had run across those threads and that's what made me realize eBay was not for me and I'd be better off here...

1958. Condition trumps price, to a point. 1K and under, not an issue. 2K and I have to start thinking...
