Hi there! I am new to the forum, this is my first post. I am a 27 year old watch nerd from Germany and I am very pleased to own a few vintage timepieces
Wilkommen! Where in Germany do you live? I lived in Wien and then Weiden in der Oberpfalz for a few years.
NRW is a beautiful area. I did enjoy my time in Germany/Austria, but I'm back in the U.S. for the foreseeable future now.
We would be very pleased if you could please show us a few pictures of your vintage timepieces! And welcome aboard!
Hi. Current collection contains - Omega Speedmaster 145.012 - Omega Speedmaster 145.022 - Omega Speedmaster 2998 (case missing) - Omega Seamaster 135.027 - Breitling Navitimer 806 - Nomos Tangente - Cartier Tank - Longines Conquest
Thanks for the welcome! I post a lot of pictures on my Instagram channel https://www.instagram.com/my.wrist/ let me know if you want to see some pieces in particular.
Let’s see your 806! Your Instagram post on it seems to say you sold it. We love all brands here. Lots of love from seiko to Sinn to GO.
The 806 was a great find and will properly stay in my collection. The post you mention refers to the image in the background of the watch I know that the 806 is not for everyone. But I think it is really underrated in the line of vintage chronographs.
A lot in fact... in the late 90s, while at university. Since then, two or three times until it was demolished.
Welcome to the forum - enjoy this community. I am from Germany too and have met very nice people from all over the world. What kind of Longines Conquest is your model? Unfortunately I have missed a Valjoux 72 from 1969 recently. The hunt continues ...
thanks for the welcome! its the standard automatic model with the 19AS movement and a nice patina dial
The 19AS is an incredibly sexy movement! I'll be sure to pick up a vintage Longines one day, I just never got around to it. Maybe a 23z, 30l, or 19AS...
