Hello to the forum! I live in Northern Colorado, and had been a Rolex guy for 30 years, bought a submariner new in 1976 and wore it as my only watch for 30 years, then discovered Breitlings, and collected a few of those. I now rotate watches based on what I am doing (working, scuba diving, out to dinner, etc.), and have found that having multiple watches is a good thing. My first Omega, the 1957 Speedmaster, was given to me by my wife on our 35th anniversary in the Bahamas last week. I had gone gaga over the watch when we saw it in Vegas, could not pull the trigger at the time, and forgot about it. Here's her new ring, and my new Speedmaster. Love the watch, and the woman. Cheers to the forum!
Out of all those and when it really comes down to it the ring and the Speedy I am sure pale in comparison...... Enjoy the things that matter the most and the trinkets along the way. Best of health to you both!!! Would love to see a pic of the Sub and of course welcome
@Giff2577 and bluefinz52 got it, its from "The Day the Earth Stood Still", the original, not the crappy remake. Cheers!
