Hi there,

I’ve recently been handed down the below watch from my grandad. I’d like to restore it and replace the strap and buckle but would like some advice on where to start and if this is simple for a novice to do. Also is this the type of watch I need to get insured? Any help is appreciated. Thanks a lot

I'd leave it as is unless you want to wear it yourself. Need more shots of it as well as pics of the movement and outside/ inside of caseback . I'm not entirely sure it's all original. If it is original military it would be quite valuable.
