i like it but why the heck would you put vintage diver on the dial? it kills it for me. much like halios putting auto matic at the 6 indice
this release is right out of the oris heritage playbook. with shades of the lip compressor. obv they didn't get the memo we didn't want another date watch. you can buy the topper one without it from oris but it's twice as much...lol.. they even put out another LE with a nice green dial version for 2k as well....i'm not paying double for it, tyvm
It would indeed be better without the Vintage Diver or the date, for me anyway. I like it but don't love it, something just isn't quitev right and I can't put my finger on it, maybe it's the lume colour looking a bit too..... bright.
Toppers LE has been sold out for years. Never seen one hit the market. It’s still in the website though or was about a year ago
i know. i was just making an example of how people will pay twice as much for less watch with a LE thing going on. and those that dislike date watches just have to suck it up and pay the premium or move along. the green one was nice as well. but 2k...gtfo i wanted it badly, but at this price you have to walk away. further insult is the regular version is 42mm and and the LE is 40mm. that is the double whammy for no date collectors that don't like 42mm or bigger https://timelessluxwatches.com/reviews/timeless-sixty-five-limited-edition/
With lumed square hour markers the same size as the date window why not make these with the background of the date display luminous while they were at it? An applied lume compound would risk degraded matter fouling the works but there are plastic materials that are already luminous.
