    Hi all

Just done a potential deal on this , not something you see every day, allegedly a strapper Speedie 125, it is coming to me from a completely reliable source who bought it from the original owner, supplied with original docs etc and confirmation from the original owner that this is exactly how he bought it! I dont have any reason for me to suspect it is not legitimate, however, I have never seen a strapper 125!

Thoughts and opinions welcome, pics aren't mine as I am not expecting delivery for a week or two but wanted to float it here first for thoughts and opinions! I know the first inkling would be 'fake' but I have seen movement pics, it is a 125 inner case, movement, dial etc, I thought it could be a Lemania outer case or something like that but again I have never seen this outer case on any watch

I have looked through Tissot Navigators, all lemania based variations and cant find this case design anywhere! Could it be a 1 off case? I just don't know so wanted to float it here before I concluded the deal for opinions

    Cheers Tom

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say its a modified/salvaged 125 case. The basic side profile with the little turn-downs is the same and vaguely the same from the top too.

I think the one of the mounting tabs for the original bracelet was damaged and someone had the cased machined to fit the present bracelet. Looks like some non-factory mill work between the "lugs" and it looks like the top has been ground down in an attempt to lessen the effect of the narrower bracelet fitment.

I have serious doubts this came from the factory as seen.

The red arrow shows the grove to centre the Watch-Module with the Tonneau-Case

The Bracelet is caled = Bar-Bracelet (on mine is the Nr. 3033/213)

Another Jaguar fan chimes in, I'd say yes.

I think we need a thread on this mans car!
