    Dear all,

I've been quite lately from vintage omega since I'm trying to re-focus my collection but more over I want better quality than quantity (you guys inspired me). From time to time i check the local online platform to see what available. After my last purchase of seamaster chronometer sparkle dial back in early 2018, I haven't done anything apart from selling my non omega collection and buy omega railmaster co-axial. Few weeks back, i found this omega Ref 2519 cal 333 which makes my hard beat faster. 14K YG 36 mm, is a very good size to wear. I'm trying to read all thread i find but seems very few. the Aged dial for some reason attract me and the case seems in good condition. movement is good also. Any opinion what to correct from the watch? initially I'm not comfortable with the seamaster inscription which looks clean compare to how the inscription looks above it IMG_4585.JPG .

From the picture shown, I see nothing wrong with the dial. The crown looks correct also.

The original versions of the Seamaster model line did not have the name on the dial. I’ve seen a few transition pieces where the “Seamaster” name was printed separately. I think your watch is one of them.

Assuming the rest of the watch is OK, I wouldn’t change a thing.

Thanks Gator. Thanks God it is ok. the rest of the watch is ok. light scratch here and there which is good not to polish. In some part I see tarnish start develop. Movement is clean and serviced. the old gasket still there also.

yes... printed separately the seamaster is make senses... as it is clearly cleaner than the word above it.

Nice watch, congrats! You obviously have a nice collection growing and know what you are doing, so for my own education, you say the watch was serviced and the old gasket is still there. Shouldn't the gaskets be swapped out with a service? Perhaps something was just lost in translation, but I wanted to prod a bit on that point. All my best,

I mean when the watchmaker open the caseback for service, the old one is there. For sure it is replaced.

Yes, there were different fonts used at that time. Yours and mine are a bit different but all original I think.

Your font was used on a 2516 as seen here
