After initially a lot of doubt but with some help and better pictures I think the dial is original. Sala has a pic in which the very weird looking double 45 can also be seen. Condition of the watch is very nice. 2 watchmaker marks and screws still in very nice condition.
Very nice looking watch, congrats! however that hour hand.......not sure about that* *I have driven myself crazy looking at leaf hands for way too long, sometimes I get confused. But I'm not sure this is a matching set, and even if it was, I thought the earlier broader leaf hands were on much earlier pieces?
One could have questions about the hands indeed. Sala has obviously other hands pictured. I have no clue whether the current hands are matching and/or are older than the watch
The sala photo doesn't mean anything, as there are many correct dial/hand combos for each case ref, but let's see if anyone else has thoughts on the hands, especially the hour. It looks like in your photo perhaps the hour hand is a slightly different shade of blue? or is it just catching the light slightly differently?
Watch is on its way to the watchmaker so can't check it but I think the colour of the hands is exactly the same (as in: I did not see any difference)
yep, those look like same color. you could be totally fine, I'm just used to seeing the smaller width hour hand, like this, but there's obviously some different styles over time.....
