It's a beautiful watch but I can hardly imagine it hitting the requested price one day.

 

a google alert is an alert you set about a certain name or topic with google that they email you when something pops up; comes in handy when its something unusual like this watch, but could be a pain for something popular that gets talked about a lot

Google Alerts are good. I also use the WatchRecon app.

 

He initially listed this watch for 5k auction starting price and then I believe he sold it "off ebay" - he then re-listed it at crazy price just so that nobody would buy it (because it was already sold). I believe this is an attempt to avoid getting in trouble with ebay for off-ebay sales. Just FYI!

 

I also don't understand this practice as ebay uses their judgement when it comes to off-ebay violations and won't be fooled in my opinion. I myself have gotten in trouble even when I am getting solicitations from other people. It's quite ridiculous and unfortunately ebay doesn't seem to care. Anyway, I'm almost positive that there is no longer a watch for sale...

 

As always too, remember that asking price =/= actual value or sale price
