If its Hong Kong dollars which I can only assume is the sensible explanation then its actually quite a good deal.

Stunning dial. Almost looks too perfectly tropicalized.
I'd rather not discuss the price, I find it a bit insulting, even if they are entitled to ask the number they like the best

Well, yea it's a ridiculous price. I think hands and markers have been relumed. Bubbling on dial, especially edges up top.
Not even a movement and caseback pic. Some gouges on bezel. Count me out.

It does look nice, but I agree that there is an element of too good to be true about it especially when the hands are almost identical to the markers. As others have suggested, a bit of colouring going on. If they are selling for $48k, they can have mine for $30k :)

And you don't get boxes, papers or even the original bracelet!

Seems like the approach these days is to price very opportunistically and see if anyone bites!

different aging though, I think most prefer the "sun" tropical dial over the "moister" type. But who knows, maybe thats just me.

Moister Alone will never lead to brown tropical, you need a light source... For a long time

True words. ICONIC. First Watch Worn On the Moon. :)

I would trade my ICONIC Ed White for this one. Or frankly any other solid gold with solid gold bracelet speedy. Please message me if you have a gold speedy you want to off load.

Is it possible to tropicalize a dial artificially?
