    hey guys,

I always wanted a moon watch and finally decided to pull the trigger.

Moving from a O&W with a Val 7750 that I’ve been wearing for about a decade, figure aside from winding it would be a good daily wear

    Any thoughts on this one?

    Thanks!

Winding is really not an issue at all. Looks alright for a modern luminova Speedy Pro. Ok price, decent seller.

    Thanks for the reply!

Anything I should worry about with that vintage or anything?

That one is 18 years old, if I read add correct. What is service history? Assuming it is unknown I think better off spending a few hundred more for one just a year or two old. I think I have seen them selling at $3250 USD.

My preference is trituim. So maybe check pricing for watches in early 90s to see if you like that look. Those will cost more than luminova, but I think worth it if you like that look.

    Good luck

Nope no issues. 145.022-76 on Omega NATO.

Although you might want to get normal spring bars and not the bracelet spring bars. They are a bit different.

Also the single layer options not a bad idea to let it sit closer to your wrist if you are under 7.25 on your wrist. I’m 7.5 and it will get a bit bulky on the thicker strap.

    Thanks!

So as in generic 20mm bars or omega specific?

Generic is fine. C&C might provide them. The bracelet ones will work but they are not as good for straps as they have a bit more give to make them easier to take on and off bracelets. The extra give and thickness is not desired for straps.

The Japanese always keep their possessions in tip-top condition so I would definitely go for that 3570.50. Congrats in advance :)

Congratulations on your Speedie, glad you are enjoying it. Personally I prefer the look on the bracelet.

    Thanks!

I’ve been using the NATOs for about a decade, like the look and also I like the idea that if I blow a spring bar I won’t loose the watch

Wouldn't worry too much about that happening on a modern Speedmaster to be honest.
