This latest Longines Heritage range watch combines technical innovation with sophistication, boasting a sleek stainless steel case, measuring at 40mm and complete with sapphire crystal. It has a champagne dial which features a three-hand movement, silver tone indices and a moonphase subdial towards the 6-o-clock position.
Delving deeper into the mechanisms behind this watch and those within the collection, each watch features Longines's L592 or L888 movements and this self-winding automatic mechanical movement beats at 28'800 vibrations per hour and provides 40 hours of resilient power reserve.

In the UK it is exclusive to Ernest Jones at £1,650 . Well gets my vote but I wonder how hard it will be to get

Not bad. I'm not a new watch guy but otherwise I might have considered this.

Doesn't do it for me, £1650 is a lot of coin for that IMO, you could invest that kind of money into a great vintage piece but that's a presonal opinion.

You make a valid point but for many of us the vintage watch market is a minefield and one that could be costly if we get it wrong, I for one don’t have cash that I could afford to lose so buying something new and keeping it would be my preferred choice.

But we are all different and if you have the nouce for the vintage watch scene then there are some cracking pieces out there waiting to be found. I just wouldn’t know where to start.
