New CK859 question

I have ventured into manual wind and love this watch. One question to hopefully put my mind at rest if that is ok.
I woke up this morning and the watch was an hour slow. I think I set it yesterday and didn’t press the crown back in fully. This meant the crown was in the position to set the quickset hour hand. I think it must have changed at some point during the day although I didn’t notice the time difference when I took it off when I would expect to.
Can anything be harmed within the movement if the crown is in this position for 12 hours or so whilst the watch is continuing to function? Is the mechanism designed to run as normal until the hour hand is physically altered?
Thank you.

No harm was done. It is always possible you mis-set the hour yesterday and now appears an hour slow. Just reset it and continue on with life.

Thanks for replying. I have wondered if I mis-set it. The crown was in position 2 though so was worried this may engage something in the movement which shouldn’t be for long periods.
I don’t know enough about the workings. Am usually good at wearing them without worrying.

I frequently mis-set my wife’s by an hour so we’re actually on time for once.
