Anyone see this news? It's 43.5mm ceramic case is larger than the 2018's! Titanium bezel and case back. Pretty nice... ref 210.92.44.20.01.001
I'm liking this a lot. The wave isn't too out there to turn me off. The black and titanium is a perfect combo as well.
I like it, and I can just about forgive the awful skeleton hands that have plagued the SMP for years. Do we know how much this is likely to cost?
Bit large maybe but otherwise smoking hot! My guess: In six months (latest) there will be a blue ceramic SMP as well.
http://www.patentsencyclopedia.com/app/20120311862 I am not a native speaker, hope I read it wrong but I understand it is a patented feature which locks the caseback in two possible positions - either "Diver 300m" writing lines up to 12 o'clock or lines up to 6 o'clock. I hope I got it wrong as it sounds like super BS.
As much as I like the display backs on these, having the NAIAD to align the Hippocampus on a more toolish design like this would be perfect. Definitely on my radar though, curious to see how it wears in relation to the smaller SS cases.
Has Omega produced ceramic cases smaller than 44mm? I guess the added size is for structural integrity... All black looks nice and the lightweight materials must make it feel like you're wearing nothing at all!
