Biggest problem is it seams to be 40mm, the Daytona NEEDS to be bigger. The really strange thing is, looking at the bezel, it looks like its been enlarged, but they claim it hasn't.
I really love the look of the new ceramic Daytona - I prefer the chocolate dial, and I've always liked Rose Gold over Yellow. The other important thing about this watch is, if Rolex follow their usual model release programme (18ct year one, bimetal year two, steel year three), we'd be right on course for a brand spanking new Daytona in 2013, which happens to be 50 years after the first Daytona. Coincidence? Time will tell, but I would love a new 6263 inspired Daytona. Furthermore, the model number has been subtly changed - the Daytona has been 11652X since launch, yet here we have a 116515. I wonder if they'll be offering the two different bezels side by side like classic manual wind Daytonas?
Be interesting if the mountings were compatible so you could bezel swap like the sub LV owners used to.
