Wanted to share with the OF community because I am very excited. Got an email from Bremont today that my U.S. Naval Test Pilot School watch is on the way. Ordered it a while ago along with an MBIII F/A-18 version. The F/A-18 version is being built now and is also supposed to ship this month. Both have special meaning to me. I flew F/A-18's for 18 years as a combat pilot (Iraq, Bosnia, Somalia) and a test pilot (USNTPS class 107). We'll see what happens to the rest of my collection once they get here, but these will definitely be forever watches.

I'm not familiar with the story behind either of these models, but your excitement becomes my excitement. Congratulations, and be sure to post lots of pics when you get them!

The radial rotor cuff links might be sweet, too.

I feel blessed that they offer the special military editions at 40%-60% off MSRP. I think that is very classy of them to do that for the military. They only stipulate that I agree not to resell them for 3 years.

@corn18...those are some pretty spiffy Bremonts, Tom.

Also, I'm totally grooving on your callsign.

The game of corn hole is ridiculously popular here in Cincinnati, OH. Our family has a corn hole set...or I should say we 'had' a corn hole set. Psycho squirrels got into the bags and ate the corn...but our boards are good-to-go...I need to purchase a new set of bags.

Mad Dog, I live in Loveland. Where are you in Cincinnati? BTW, Corn was given to me not because of the game. I was Butt for a while and a good ole boy from Georgia (my first fleet skipper) decided I should be Corn. Apparently that is a southern colloquialism for something quite unflattering.

    Ummm...yeah...the 'other' corn hole game...lol. :D

Dang...small world...I'm in Hyde Park...right down the street.

Just a heads up...there's another OF member (@ChuckMK23) who lives in Oakley. He and I often meet at the Dunkin' Donuts on the corner of Madison Road and Edwards Road with our Omega Speedmaster Pros and Navy G-1s/CWU-36Ps...as well as other paraphernalia...like 'PI Special' belt buckles. We're both former Navy rotorheads (Chuck was a -46 driver and I was a -60 driver)...Chuck is YG '86 and I'm YG '87.

You're cordially invited to attend our AOMs at Dunkin' Donuts. :D

SH! If I show up we'll be YG '86, '87 and '88. I'm going to assume since you both have PI specials that you're Shellbacks? I was an east coast F-18 driver. Let me know the next time you're meeting up. Would love to shoot the shit and talk watches. I could wear my 145.012 - 67.

Wow...lol...too nutty. I'm pretty sure Chuck is a Shellback (he was east coast HC)...I know I'm a Shellback (I was west coast HSL)...AND I have my Shellback card to prove it. :D Chuck didn't purchase his 'PI Special' in the PI...but I purchased mine there. We usually plan to meet at DD on short notice via text...as in the night prior. I'll PM you my phone number via this site.

No *not* a Shellback, regrettably. PI Special buckle was bought at North Island NEX.
@corn18 I am in Hyde Park for the moment and moving in short order to Nky, I work for GE and office relocating to Banks in Cincy. Northern KY is convenient to office (8 miles) and gun club. The North burb traffic (Loveland) is too much!

We need to an OF GTG at DD. WE usually specify G-1's or CWU jackets ahead of time. @Mad Dog 's G-1 is pristine while mine is worn like shit. (everything @Mad Dog owns is pristine - I'd buy anything he owns)

Not everything...I just discovered on my 'used-to-be-pristine' '07 Ford Police Interceptor that the lower part of the aft doors are rusting from inside. :(

    Polliwog!

    @ChuckMK23 is a polliwog! :eek:

I'll donate $5 to OF if the powers-that-be put "is a freaking polliwog!" in his below-the-avatar/username text.
