Back in 2009 these were financially out of reach for me, and they’ve only gotten farther out of reach in the years since. For obvious reasons, the FOIS has (sort of) been calling to me for years, but I just couldn’t get past some of the odd design choices (no official bracelet, no AML, and the mis-marched subdial hands). So after almost 2 years of bouncing back and forth, I finally pulled the trigger on a 60th anniversary Speedmaster. This is the first modern watch I’ve owned, so it feels a little odd posting photos of something inherently not unique, but I simply can’t stop staring at it and snapping photos, so here we are. I have zero complaints about this piece, between the size, the vintage look, and the... everything else, I’m chuffed to bits.

    Love mine too

Love it because it has a charm and uniqueness about it; like you said, although it's not vintage.

It doesn't look like any other speedmaster, apart from the original CK2915 of course... and the sizing is perfect.

I've kept mine on the flat link bracelet because i love it and it wears spot on for me.

    Congratulations, i love this one.

Congrats @Poday. It's a fantastic watch. The 2915 has been THE watch that got me interested into watches and over the past couple of decades there has always been a factor that prevented me from buying one: condition, aesthetics, price of course, consistency... So when Omega came up with this a couple of years ago, it was a no brainer to me. Enjoy it!

Grats on the coolest Speedmaster Omega have made since the Moonwatch :). Most pictures on the web don't do it justice IMO - it looks amazing, especially in natural light on a bracelet.

Almost bought one last fall...such a great piece. I'm sure we'd love to see a follow-up post detailing your experience with it maybe 6-12 months from now. Congrats on the acquisition!

Congrats on the purchase. The 60th is my most worn watch among my collection. Such a wearable watch with perfect size.

Congratulations, it’s a great watch probably the favourite of my Speedies and certainly the one I wear the most.

Yup! One of the three. Now I just need to resist the temptation to complete the trilogy. The Seamaster really speaks to me.

Congrats! I would have pulled the trigger on it as well if I I didn't already have a 57 first re-issue. :)

Put mine on my Ed White strap yesterday to see what it would look like on vintage 1035/6 end combo... there’s a wrist roll video on my Insta account boon_nick if you’re interested

That looks great! The included bracelet is a nice homage to the original flat link bracelets, but it’s still the one piece of the package that stands out as modern and doesn’t quite capture the look of the original.
