    Hello,

I share with you my new vintage Omega : a nice 30T2 Rg with central second. The gold case seems unpolished and is 35 mm diameter without the crown.
I think the dial is an original but as I am not a expert with these old dials I would like to have your opinion.

    Thanks !!

I think I have seen this watch before, perhaps on ebay? Or it was a similar one. The "FAB. SUISSE" had me wondering. I did not think they ever did this, so I stayed away. Not familiar with the old, old stuff so I hope this is an opportunity to learn something. It is an Omega chronometer movement by the looks of it and with the old (pre triangle) Omega symbol on the case back. My guess it is a redail though( just looks to clean). Others more learned in Omegas of old will verify or disprove my statement.

Fab Suisse was on French market watches, many in that era have it like this one:

Congratulations! It is a very nice Omega Chronometre (indeed produced for the French market) and the dial is original in my humble opinion.

The Omega garter logo was discontinued years before this watch was made, but the French manufacturer kept it.

That is the sign of a case made for the French market.

The case number lines up with the movement serial number at around 1944-45. Watch looks all original to me.

    Nice!

Thanks everybody for your comments !
I'm happy to have confirmation it's an original dial.

Thanks a lot for theses informations Gatorcpa. Nice for me that the watch was made for the french market because I'm french ! :)
I'm not sure to understand what is the "Omega garter" ? This the inscription inside the caseback ?

You were the other bidder by phone ??? Sorry....
