·Heading out to Croatia next month, so have decided to take the plunge (I thank you), and learn to scuba dive.
Clearly a suitable watch was required, and after much consideration, I decided to go for a modern interpretation of the watch CWC made for the Royal Navy in 1980 - the RN Auto Diver MK2.
Swiss Made, Super Luminova hands/dial, 120 click bezel, sapphire crystal, fixed 20mm spring bars, water resistant to 300m, and powered by the workhorse ETA 2824-2.
I've been wearing it since Friday, and on dry land it is incredibly comfortable to wear and easy to read - can't wait to get in the pool for Part A of the Padi Open Water course next week, and see what it's like when submerged.
