Two questions... anyone know what crystal I need for the Ref 2500, and whether or not it should have the Omega symbol etched in it or not

Secondly, has anyone an Omega 5704.60.02 Centenary re-issue? Only just noticed they made one

Crystal afaik is a generic plastic one with no ring.
And I do own the reissue in addition to a few of the vintage versions.

Oh nice, any pics of the re-issue? I don't love most of the museum line but the 2500 re-edition looks externally at least looks to be very faithful to the original, but with the Co-axial text on the dial.

For case 055BP2500 - the only one that shows a 330 series movement, the crystal part number is 062PN1043.

    Cheers, Al

No Ω logo on these crystals. Omega didn't start doing that 'til some time in the 50's.

I love how they've even used the vintage Omega logo rather than the new one, that's a really nice piece

From some time in the 50's and forward, which came with logo - all models, or just some? My latest buy, a 66/67 dont have it - should it? If yes, are the crystals w/ logo available to this and to other models as well?

    Thanks.

Some older models have an Omega crystal available, some don't. Very often the replacement Omega crystal will be a different shape or contour than the original one was.

The new Omega replacement crystal will have a logo. My 1950 Chronometer did not originally have a logo crystal. When Omega in NY replaced it, now it does.

Neither the original nor the replacement has a trim ring.

My watchmaker Paul is working on it now, first time I've seen one of these luxury finishing bumper movement versions

Serial number does seem to put it very early at ~1946, does that make it one of that first series of "Jubilee" models or part of the later series?

10,759,010 is around the normal range for these. The two serial numbers of the one I own now and the one I traded a few years ago were 10,680,184 and 10,761,297.

Would that make it part of the jubillee series Bill mentioned in this thread, for the first production run or would it be part of the later production?

    They are marked 30.10 JUB
You might only be able to see the .10
It's visible under the balance without disassembly.
Also, this is the "deluxe" not the "luixury"
"luxury" refers to 343 with RG regulator I believe

    Look closely under balance
You can see "U" and part of the "B"
    and the "10"
