Hi Just receive it the latest addition in my collection , as I am not an expert on Speedmaster , but watch looks nice , the HI-RES pics sometime scares like the bad pics , but at the eyes pretty nice. Now I am waiting the extract of the Achive hoping the bracelet reference is stated , and start to hunt some parts, the Watch works perfectly . The Dial and hands are tritium and pretty nice , the glass as a scratch will try with a plastic polish to see if in can remove it assuming that an original plexus or already replacement , I have no clue about that, also if a OF member can let me know if the crown is the famous flat or not and the pusher looks like a new and old one. But definitively a good deal. And the serial is nice because was at the beginning of the series Paul
Nice catch. Pretty crisp case and nice dial. The hands are a bit grubby at their bases, but nevertheless a really nice transitional. Please let us know what it looks like when you’ve got it in hand. I watched this thru at least two eBay appearances and would have pulled the trigger but for @Nathan1967 , who sold me his. So, mine says hello:
Nice win! You can see the omega logo on the crystal, but it looks rotated. I'll defer to others if that is significant. To my eyes it looks like a possible replacement crown - but def not a flat foot.
Congrats! Service crown and one service pusher. The extracts rarely mention the bracelet ref# on these. But you should be looking into a 1039/516 if you want to get one. The plexi looks correct with the older logo. You’ll need to try and wet sand the scratch off with some 2000 grit paper and then finish off with Polywatch.
Cool thanks for all the answer yet will start to chase a crown and a pusher , the Plexy should be recoverable. Will post a WTB for all the parts now, Thanks Paul
Sorry ))) , at the end the price as fair, the Hires picture are scary but with the eyes the watch is pristine in terms of look, now replace and service it and enjoy waiting my 50 years anniversary at the end of the year
I recently tossed out half a dozen 321 watches when I saw the omega logo on the crystal was not in the proper position.
