I'm like a kid in a candy store on this forum! I picked this up last week and had it sized Sunday so it was my go to for work today. A big thanks to Shem for the guidance.
and so it begins....... the first one....... when you start needing multiple little boxes to store them all and no longer have to sneak them into the house because she can no longer keep track of how many there are you'll remember this day, when you had only one.
Thanks everyone. Not my first Omega but the first of this decade and the first I've purchased with some Omega knowledge. My wife gave me a Seamaster 300 for a wedding gift in 2007 so that was my first modern Omega. I really had no idea what we were buying then. Thankfully it was a nice watch. I had a Speedmaster at one point that I acquired but sold (or hocked) that around 1999/2000 when I was getting a divorce (1st wife), had a cast on my arm for 9 months, and knew nothing about watches. Sadly I have no idea what i really owned as I was not into watches then as I am now. Still looking for a picture. The other Omegas I own are from the 80's, two gold Devilles that I received as gifts. I also have a few of what I suppose are vintage Omegas. I need to dig everything out now that I've become interested. Enough rambling from me. PS. I'll work on my watch photography skills and for now I will be sneaking these into the house
Thanks. She didn't divorce me when I put a 1965 Corvette in the garage so I may be good for a couple more purchases. Fingers crossed.
