I had one of these in gold cap but I sold it..

I factored in the service, and the BOR and it was a very good deal. I tend to spend more than I should on examples that don't always have any provenance. Can be costly at times.

There is obviously a drying up of the market as this wouldn't of lasted a minute normally!

A side note to everyone: KNOCK IT THE F--- OFF!!! Besides one or two small diversions, I've been doing remarkably well (for a watch addict) keeping most of the home improvement funds in the home improvement fund chest despite having all the cash I'd need to buy a Breguet. Tell me who else has that kind of self control!

Yeah, well that's why I wanted a 38.5 mm AT and a 5197BB. Went in there with Greg / RJ007 and Windy says we looked like kids in front of the candy store's glass case. That was the day I swore if Omega ever offered the AT with a blue dial I would buy it.
