Just acquired one because they're brilliant and they are, indeed, a poor-person's pie pan Connie PLUS the cases are more stylish (in my view) than the dog leg Connie cases (they just scream ancient to me).

Came by way of Japan and an enthusiast on a local forum (CanWatchCo) who put massive effort into a service and parts. Now I need to pick up a black or grey (or both) dial.

That's nice. I could definitely see its resemblance to the original pie-pan. Congrats!

Thanks! One of those watches that stayed on the wrist for a few consecutive days, which is a rarity for me...

Found me a gold plated beauty

I really dig the "TECHNOS WORLD-WIDE" text with the T across the earth logo and geometric case back. So delightfully 70s!

There isn’t too much information about these out there, so I’m very happy with this thread. So much so that I also decided to pick up one of these! Mine is the gold filled variant, with Italian day date complication. It’s pretty much new, and works perfectly. I’m genuinely blown away by the amount of watch you get for the money, pictures really don’t do it justice.

💯. Technos are obscure but with some great designs and "service anywhere" ebauches. Great value for the vintage collector!

Lovely Sky Light, interesting that it has a depth rating on the dial (or is that ceiling?).

There seems to be a surprising amount of variety among these Sky Light models. I have seen different case backs, crystals, hands and dial colours out there. Mine has a very tall domed mineral crystal with chamfered edges, giving the dial a lot of cool light play. The surface surrounding the case back also has a ‘vortex’ like brushing pattern, that I haven’t seen on any other model yet. The movement in mine is bronze coloured, and also surprisingly well finished. Crazy bang for the buck, would love to see more of these pop up in this thread!
