I’m excited to show my newest timepiece: a vintage Art Nouveau clock! French made, it dates from the early 1900’s. I’m a big fan of the Art Nouveau style and take immense pleasure of examining the details of various works from Hector Guimard, Alphonse Mucha, Antoni Gaudi, etc. This clock's long organic curves are typical of the stylistic flourishes of Art Nouveau. The pendulum is a wood carving mash-up of a moth and thistles (?). The porcelain dial has more conventional numerals and drawing of thistles. The movement is a Mouvement de Paris from F. Martin.

The clock needs some TLC but will be really nice once readied. This is my first vintage mechanical clock so I'm going slow. Anyone with experience with these please contribute suggestions!

    Love that dial!
When ready, please post a video showing that pendulum in action.
    You must be thrilled.

Not my area of knowledge at all, but there are a few excellent clock makers and restorers around. With the right TLC, this is definitely going to be a talking point for whatever room you decide to display it in!
