So I own the 1861 Hesalite Moonwatch but I want the new 3861 version. I have been unable to get my AD to discount any so far this year. Now he says he can discount on that watch. Any ideas on how much of a discount to ask for? My previous 1861 I bought from him and he gave me 25% off. I doubt I can that much right now, but I was thinking of asking for 20% off. Am I asking for too much, too soon? I'd appreciate your thoughts. I'd love to hear if and how much of a discount others have got from and AD. Thanks.

Ask for what you think would be a great price for you, but I doubt you'll get more than 10-12% at this point. 15% max.

Yeah I'm thinking 20% might be too hopeful at this point.

There are 115 reference 310.30.42.50.01.001 offered on C24 and nothing at a discount. May be too early to get this watch at any appreciable discount. I also have an 1861 hesalite moon watch and I am not in any hurry to get the 3861. Let them work out any issues with the movement and buy when the inventory and availability increases. Also could be that Omega is slow to deliver this watch to drive up demand and prices. A mainstream watch like this usually gets offered at a discount later. There is nothing limited or unique about this new moon watch which means unless something drastic happens there won't be a redesign for several years. There are a couple on the forums for sale at about a 10% discount from MSRP look at those prices and maybe an AD could sell one to you now at 10% discount, but if the inventory is low for the AD don't expect them to be trying to deeply discount yet.
